What is Otto?

Otto is a lover of palindromes. It's also the Art and Literary magazine of Tunxis Community College. Otto is currently accepting submissions for its early Summer Edition until April 1st 2014. This season's Otto will be a limited edition. Otto accepts previously unpublished poetry, fiction, and non-fiction without restriction to genre. It accepts art and photography that makes the viewer want to grab the frame and climb inside.

We’re looking for... works that surprise, challenge, and make the familiar unfamiliar. We're interested in people who see green when the majority claims blue.

Guidelines: Submit all works to otto.tunxis@gmail.com.

Brief cover letters with some amount of explanation are welcome though not required. Submit all work as separate files with name and sufficient information about the work, such as title and genre. Literary work should be submitted in doc or docx file formats. Submit up to three poems. Submit up to two prose works. If short stories as considered mico or flash fictions, submit up to three. Photographed art work and photography should be submitted at whatever dpi the artist thinks acceptable but 300dpi is always safe. We will consider up to two visual works per submission. Contributors to Otto will be provided two complimentary copies of the magazine. We’re interested in entries from students and faculty.
